Fees and Insurance
We accept most major insurances including:
- Blue Cross/Blue Shield
- United Healthcare
- Coventry (Excludes “Duke”)
Many insurance companies provide coverage for a hearing evaluation and some even offer a benefit toward the purchase of hearing aids. Please be sure to check with your insurance provider prior to your visit to see if your policy covers the cost of a hearing evaluation and/or offers a benefit for hearing aids. If it is determined that you have a benefit, we will be happy to discuss filing with your insurance provider, on your behalf, at the time of your consultation.
Medicare requires a referral from your Primary Care Physician for diagnostic hearing tests, which we ask you to obtain prior to your testing. Please ask your Primary Care Physician to send your referral to our office via FAX to: 919.342.0817.
Payment for any non-covered services, deductibles and co-payments is requested at the time of your visit. For your convenience, we accept cash, checks, Master Card, Visa and Discover.
We also offer Care Credit, a convenient monthly payment program. This plan is specifically designed to help you pay for healthcare expenses not covered by insurance, such as hearing aids. Care Credit offers up to twelve (12) months interest-free-financing. (Apply for Care Credit in our office, online at www.carecredit.com or by calling 800.365.8295.)
